I confess this bill might he a good idea. Finally do something that really starts making the illegals legal, and the part where they have to learn our language is a hood thing. If you want to be an American than learn our language instead of us having to bend to them. I belong to no party, but I do support the ones who actually does something productive that truly helps the country.

You can't say "make them learn our language", because america has no national language.

You get one curl and go mad with power. This is why we can't have nice things!

We may have no national language but it's pretty obvious that most of the country speaks English. Practically everything is spoken, or written in English as far as I can tell. In that sense she is correct. It's pretty obvious if you paid attention the last few years that we've also been "bending" as she put it, two Hispanics or Latinos whichever it is, I haven't paid much attention, and you can see that language being written on almost anything nowadays. Sometimes you can pick up and you can see that language being written on almost anything nowadays. Sometimes you can pick up a video game and when you read the case it's harder to find the English language than it is to find the Spanish description of the game.

Well I've had no issues like that, and I don't particularly care for the spanish language, but it is the 2nd most spoken language of the US. I don't like the term "bending" because it sounds like we're giving in to something. There are about 45 million people living in the US whose first spoken language is spanish, its not surprising to find that it'd be written on products.

Whenever I see something really fluffy, I always get this urge to put my mouth on it. Does anyone also get this? because I don't think I've ever talked about this or heard anyone mention something like this. Its not like a salivate when a see a really fluffy cat's tail or anything. The feeling is totally platonic. I dont knooow, this is actually so weird/embarrassing???

Midas The fact is that we are giving into something. You didn't see all of this Spanish writing on our products exploding the way it has until the moment that illegals became a big thing. That is when everyone was trying to force down each other's throats the topic of accepting illegal immigrants into the country. Whether or not Spanish was a big part of this country's language in the beginning the fact is that it wasn't for the longest time and the English became the main language but now that the topic of accepting illegal immigrants, mostly Hispanics or Latinos, that is when this all became a huge problem. I remember picking up the PlayStation 2 game Ultimate Ninja 3 and I could barely find the English language on the back. My eyes had to really focus just to find it. It may not be a big thing where you are but where I am I see it all over the damn place. You may not like the term bending but the term fits in this case. You may not be able to see where you live but plenty of others do where they live.

I'm fairly certain there are more legal spanish speaking immigrants than there are illegals in the US.

That's not the point though. The fact is that the media is forcing the topic everywhere at nauseam. It's causing a big deal so people are bending to it. None of this started until that big issue came up.
