The irony of hipsters is that they are so anti-mainstream that there whole thing about being anti-mainstream is now mainstream including clothing and drinks.

I confess that I'm a hipster when it comes to anime. I keep my thoughts about how much of a pleb people are for liking certain things to myself though, I won't attack anyone or criticize anyone for what they like. It's ultimately more of just a -silently judges you- type of thing with me. :u

I confess the main reason I like Miku the most is because she appears the most in non mainstream vocaloid music that I enjoy, but she's also just the cutest imo. Miku is totes my waifu. I've been a fan of vocaloids since 2009, when I picked up a CD in Akihabara, Japan. I confess I literally hated all but one song on that particular CD, but it led to Google searches which led to me realizing vocaloids are stars of basically any genre you can imagine, cool stuff. I've been considering doing an Itasha for my car for quite some time, if I do it's totally going to be Miku. I just have to figure out a lot of things about the design of it, I want to make sure it compliments the car in the best way possible. Edit: plus with winter getting closer, I would rather make it a spring project. ^^;

Im actually kinda sick of Miku and vocaloids out of sheer overindulgence. It almost made me quit on anime fanart because a lot of my favorite artists would draw nothing but miku pics. It ticked me off a bit xD

I confess I'm going to have friends help me pick out stylish normal people clothes, because all my special occasion clothes are basically anime/video game shirts and it's a little annoying when around people who aren't so much into the same things. Person: what's that thing on your shirt? Me: Cowboy Bebop! Person: What's that? Me: An anime (Or manga obviously) with some amazing story telling and characters! Person: what's anime? Me: Japanese animation! Person: oh, so it's a cartoon? Me: sure, yeah
