@Lamby that can't be the only reason. My grandparents didn't sleep together either but I know they cared for each other very much. Just, they didn't like sleeping together.

i confess that growing up around unhappy relationships has taught me what not to do in a relationship, and how to properly treat someone

not from what iv heard about them my grandfather suffered from depression, which my grandmother thought as him just needing to suck it up my grandmother once said "i cant believe i even let him touch me" when it came to my mother being born i even remembered my grandmother calling him an idiot and thinking it was normal lol saddest part is i dont ever remember him fighting her about it, he would always just take it and sometimes force a smile i wish i got to know him better, he was a really strong man to put up with everything (then again he also liked abit of the take :P but he was a quiet drunk, so still good in my book) bbuuttt my grandmother was also an old school Irish women, and thats just kinda how they are xD

I always found that the petty disagreements and offhanded remarks to be amazingly childish and unnecessary. It is amazing to pick apart how an argument even begins and analyze the things that trigger people in a relationship.

well thats why communication and talking things out are so important small fights like over burning toast are all because of underlying issues you never talk about thats how resentments grow i think if your in that point in a relationship you should both just leave

Both of my parents can get pretty fired up. My Dad won't take any of my Mom's shit and my Mom won't be quite until she has said her piece. She gets fucking pissed at my brother for not taking his school work seriously. My Dad get's pissed and goes off when she rails on him. An interesting cycle. My grandparents on my mothers side basically did a 180 once my grandpa retired. He used to work 2 jobs at the same time so he was always tiered. However once he retired he mellowed out like crazy. My grandma always stayed the same but since my grandpa mellowed out so much it just seemed like she was the dominant one in the relationship. Interesting stuff.

Hahaha I love to call my best friend faggots, assholes, and retards. Throwing stuff though... that's crazy. Any of my friends through any of my shit they wouldn't be allowed back at my house lol. I try to keep my stuff pristine and in good working order.
