I actually can't wear Steel Toes, there was a incident a few years ago when someone dropped a Fixture Plate and it Crushed the Steel Severing his Toes so they don't allow it

@brass are you say the steel plate in the steel toe shoe cut the dudes toe off? Would have to be one heavy fixture plate.

I also have these, which I love, but too many people have commented that they look like bowling shoes >_> http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/H~UAAOSwqaJTk8ib/s-l300.jpg It didn't occur to me that's what they look like when I bought them. Now they just collect dust in my closet...
