Plus size/former plus size members unite

So who else around here is a little more pudgy than the average Joe? I'm one of em. I'm 6,5 and weighing at 300 lbs. But due to my height ppl assume I weigh 220. I'm not asking for ppl's weight or anything. I'm merely gathering up the other plus sized members or once plus sized. I just want to ask other plus sized ppl how do they go about knowing they weigh more than they should. And asking the former plus sized ppl what event in your life caused you to want to lose weight. C'mon plus sized ppl/former plus sized sound off.

heh ok..this is cool i used to weight 118 but add the birth control i weight 179 pounds within monnths after insertionn ^-^ now i got stretchmarks everywhere lol i look like im pregnant with all theses marks arounnd my belly button xD but i count too right?^_^ i'm almost 200 pounds : ] and im only 4"12" ? (i think i know im not 5 feet yet xD)

Former here. People judge, they naturally do even if they don't think they do. Instead of complaining about nature and against a paradigm that wouldn't change I decided to do something about it.

I'm 5'8" and probably around 185. It's not so bad; I could stand to lose maybe 20-30 pounds. But I was scary-skinny for most of my life when I was younger, so I'm actually okay with being a little over rather than how I was once. I'd just rather that weight be in slightly better shape. And that, I think, is where a desire to lose weight or get in better shape should come from--a desire for personal improvement rather than a desire to please anyone else. If you're happy with where you're at, embrace that. :)
