Nothing More Than A Creature

As I peer into that same, tinted mirror, I see that same disfigured creature, the one with the sad eyes, gazing back. With an expression screaming "Help", her eyes overflowing with emotions of despair... I cannot help but feel bad. With my empty words, I try to communicate to her... But she refused to let me speak... We seemed to be in sync. I turn away... And like that... She goes the opposite way. We're nothing more than creatures... A distant hope of what should be....
