Like most men I have body hair, but for me it pisses me off* What's the best way to remove and reduce said body hair? *except my mustache

Laser treatment gets rid of it permanently. I did it for my armpits because shaving that shit was really annoying. But it's rather pricey. Aside from that waxing looks like the most terrifying thing in the world. So shaving it is? Millions of women do it all the time.
