Do you have to be attractive to find love theses days?

I think you do need to be attractive. And not like attractive meaning you're a model, you have the most symmetrical facial structure, or the best body in the world, but you have to be able to attract a person's attention. I feel like people really underestimate how much just having self-confidence, self-esteem, and being happy about yourself make you attractive to a broad spectrum of people.

My opinion is that it's one of the important aspects but not the only. Yes, you do need good looks to be noticed initially, but afterwards you need to show your personality more than looks. From my experiences, I can't say that you don't have to fix yourself up to be noticed unless you got that natural look where you can just roll out of bed and pull off the mussy unkept hair and don't-give-a-crap clothing that happens to work better look. But you can be the most respectful, good samaritan, stop random baby crying in public, chivalrous person in the world, but for the most part if you don't have an attractive look then you get overlooked.

ahhh...i guess love wont find me anytime soon then hahaha xD sure im full of myself once u get to know me and i am sexy without a doubt but it finding the right guy whose gonna i dont know DONT LEAVE MY ASS ONCE I GET FATTER OR GET PREGNANT!Dx thats why a big guy for me is better for me cause if im already fat and hes already fat if i gain anymore weight he would most likely stay with me.:) i been in situations like that before it was always the skinny active fucks that left me like that too soo i tend to stay away from guys who are too attactive beside im a big girl not no flat tummy chick lol xD and i wear only big T-shirts i dont like tight small shirts :) so im hoping to find a guy to see the views of looks not so important at all really.i want him to have a positive outlook than a negative outlook :)

besides...i dont have any plans cause my personaily isnt so attractive as it used to be...so i was hoping ill find a guy who i dont know see the un pure as pure im not healthy either or am i normal on the inside with my gential warts...i have maybe i was just hoping for to much outta love? I was hoping maybe ill find a guy who find warts....pretty... But it impossible...i only got lil hope left in guys and love anymore..maybe two more years of being single might bring back false hope for me again. Cause i know half of you guys would run away from gential warts in a heartbeat thats why i dont think true love even exist i think it just for kids and fairy tales and disney shit.

You got a pretty face in your pics. I doubt you should have those issues. As in love though everyone has their own ideals and beliefs. In the long run, for me, it's a mix of devotion, honesty, and just knowing someone's waiting just for you (and the occasional freakiness, to make it interesting heh) Warts and whatnot do frighten people, that's a given. I'd be lying if I say I don't think about the what if situations in that. If you're implying that sex is an important part of a relationship then you're right. Not in a perverse way, but like that you're not afraid of being closer to that person. But you may be right about true love. It's just an idea, not a fact, and it doesn't apply to all. People just don't want to believe that because it's discouraging.

There's gotta be some guys who like warts or won't mind it. I heard a girl say she liked acne scarring, and I seen plenty of skinny guys with big girls on the sidewalks of San Francisco. Maybe Liru you gotta try looking in a more liberal city

Looks matter and most of the time is what you're first judged upon. The personality completes who you are after. A girl who has confidence and is willing to go the extra mile is also attractive. Whether it be physically or mentally... or both. It shows people that you're not a slob. That's not to say that if you don't, that you are but that is what the society will think. As for MAVERICK, the whole girls who look for "HOT" guys, that's natural just as much as anyone else. Calling those girls out is immature because if i gave you 2 girls, 1 hot and 1 ugly, both very similar in personalities and hobbies who both like you. You would pick the "HOT" one. Everyone hates it but the fact is that's how Nature is. For example, look at some specific species of Birds. Some Male birds have brighter colors or unique designs because they actually groom themselves and they get to mate or they have less competition. It's not a person's fault for being naturally attracted to looks. That's the way physical attraction works. It's the same way with Asians, except at that point it's a bit too specific and those girls are usually a turn off to me. Finding an Otaku girlfriend who actually likes me for me and not me for being Asian would be awesome but that's nearly impossible B).

Heh, let me clarify something here. A slender tall asian has it easy. Im born stocky so im gonna be either fat or shaped like a fridge, but not taller than 5 and a half foot, no matter how much I run. We don't get the jpop/kpop asian guy image.

A Slender Tall Asian has only recently started to get attention because of the Korean and Japanese media doing a good job with exposure. You think being Asian is really that big of an advantage? lol. You not being Asian will never understand the shit we go through regardless if you think we "Get" all the girls because we don't lol. On a side note, being stocky isn't an issue, what the real issue at hand here is that you have no confidence in yourself to work on yourself. Who cares if you're stocky? Lift weights by REPS and not by WEIGHTS, do cardio and trust me, you'll slim out. The only reason why you look stocky is because of your height to size ratio. If you keep trying to aim to get the Jpop/Kpop image, you'll never be happy with yourself.
