Older Otaku (if they exist)

shizuma
I'll be 35 in about 2 months and I still love anime and I cosplay, but older otakus do seem like a rare breed, and it's even worse trying to find older lesbian otakus :( seems like I'm destine to always date women a decade younger than me, lol!

I'm only 22, but I'm one of the older otaku of my area. It's refreshing to see other people that never "grew out" of it. =)

Suppose I'll join the "older" otaku club here....28 and aged like a fine cheese....that means I'm sharp even if a bit pungent.;p Need to get this club growing. Too many closet otaku, I've met quite a few my age offline and would have never guessed it of them at first glance.

heh 32 yrs old here, heading towards the dreaded 33, One of these days I have to start getting all responsible like and stuff and remember that waking up in the living room floor with 3 friends passed out around me with Halo on the TV and last night's remaining pizza smooshed under someone isn't normal for responsible adults (snorts).

Bah you all think your old. 43. :) Havent gone to cons in a few years, though going to DragonCon this year, gonna try to do some others also, specially ones more dedicated towards anime and manga.

62. Been a anime fan most of my adult life. Wish I could meet my female counterpart. Everyone is too young on this site. Open to suggestions.

I know I posted awhile back, and I know 24 isn't "old", but at the same time still considered that by our younger otaku counterparts. Guess it's true as stated earlier that we're just really good at hiding ourselves.
