Makeup AKA my war paint

I've always felt insecure about my looks due to having acne scars. I usually don't wear makeup when I have to get up for school or go to work. Most people don't take a second look at me. But on the days where I do have to wear makeup, like a wedding, someone's graduation or a convention, I find myself putting on a ton. It's like armor and gives me confidence. To the ladies and gents out there, how does makeup make you feel? Do you prefer the people you date to not wear makeup or to wear it? Does it matter at all? P.S. please don't judge me by username. I came up with it when I was 13 and I use it for everything so I don't have to remember a ton of usernames.

I used to wear a lot of make up, did make me look better but im sick of it, take me as I am also I knw a thing or two about acne scares >.< if u just wash ur face with cool water or use face lotion sood help sooth the skin enough so there barely noticeable :)
