New anime Database

just wanted to say I love the new changes, but I wish theyd have someone go around and renew the pictures that crapped out (id do it even =3=)

Personally when I do stuff like that I like to use an actual existing anime database instead of trying to manually fill one locally like that. A few of the big ones like ANN and AniDB actually have some sort of API that can be used to get information from that database about individual anime/manga. And AniDB in particular maintains an XML file containing a list of every single anime title on the site (in fact the file contains every single translation used for an anime, Japanese, the Romaji, English, even other languages like French, etc...). Which you can download semi-regularly and use to handle title searching and then grab the information you need from the API.
