Redline

Have any of you here seen Redline? It's by far one of my favorite anime movies. If so, what did you think? Personally, I have not seen an anime as visually stunning as Redline. It's got an awesome blend of action-racing, science fiction, romance and features a pretty badass soundtrack Here's the trailer for those interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2t26m_Q6ENo Fun fact: Redline took seven years to produce because of the artist's insistence that every frame and scene in the movie be hand drawn by him. Possibly making Redline one of the most tedious films to produce ever.

i've seen it and own it, and yes it is gorgeous. the only way you can own this is on bluray. but while the world was unique and the visuals beautiful, i thought the plot was a little uninspired and the characters not quite memorable. it's a fun watch, though. i still recommend it.

Love that movie. Much like other videos you might find on the internet, you don't exactly watch it for the plot; you watch it for Lynchmann running faster than his car, which is going about 200 mph.

Redline was super awesome fun and beautiful as a movie. But the characters were a little under developed and so was the back story. I would've loved if this was a short run anime series instead of a movie. Also the soundtrack was great

Whoa, that looks pretty intense. And despite the amazing art quality it actually has kind of an oldschool look to it. I admit, I can be persuaded to watch something solely for the eye candy.

@Amezuki I highly recommend you give it a try. It has to be one of my favorites. :)
