Loved an inanimate object

Any experiences with heartfelt sentiments towards something inanimate? For some reason, I was just reminded of a tamagotchi Pikachu I always had clipped to my hip. I can't remember how many years, but for the longest time we did everything together. Whenever I was bored, I'd feed his pixelated face some volts and watch him smile. There was a week when I actually lost him until I found him again under the seat of my car. He was held up in his pokeball, to afraid to come out after being neglected that entire time. I never felt so guilty about something that didn't actually have any real emotions. I still recall him holding up a banner celebrating a million steps we'd taken together. Unfortunately he was kidnapped at a convention I was at in Florida. I think one of the last times I'd checked, we'd walked over 4 million steps.

I have this sleeping bag that I'm pretty attached to. It's not so much the love for it that I'm attached to, but it's more of the comforting feel of the cold fabric. I can't sleep without it for whatever reason. It's just sooo comfortable... *___*

Ahhh...that feeling of a pillow top mattress or a comforter. Where after you pull up the covers you have an odd desire to wiggle around in it just for the feeling of the fabric moving across your skin. It's like peeling the wrap off of electronics and popping bubble wrap COMBINED.
