I honestly don't like feminism, because women are no longer oppressed, but feminists still wants more privileges and such. They already achieved gender equality a long time ago, so feminism is kinda like female supremacy nowadays. Feminists for gender equality should not call themselves as such, but call themselves gender equalists. I don't hate women, just the irrational feminists.

Hmm.. I think feminists should keep working hard towards issues such as the "glass ceiling" women hit when it comes to pay. If both people do same number of hours then they should get paid the same, you know..? Although for things like wanting to change all the documents in the world from "he" to "he/she" is ridiculous and tedious. The government shouldn't be taking their time to sort all that out when there are bigger issues to handle brah. D:

feminism has changed over the past years, its not just about women, but everyone should be equally represented, men included. that said they should change the name

There have been a lot of huge steps forward, but I still think the two genders are far from being treated equal. We're not so much oppressed but we're viewed in a manner that doesn't represent who we are (such as in media) and not really put in an equal light compared to men. Kind of how the abortion debate is pioneered by men when it should be up to women to fight about. (Just my opinion.)

You can't bring the media into this matter since they only show what they want you to see also I agree for equality for everyone but to me equality consist of equal terms for everybody no matter whats the situation or time . In other words it means that chivalry is obsolete in equality so don't expect it that's all I'm saying

the views of Karen Straughan are the views i hold on feminism. http://www.youtube.com/user/girlwriteswhat if you care to watch a long video, this explains it in detail http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqEeCCuFFO8&feature=share TL;DR - the argument feminism has is fundamentally flawed and many people don't notice it over the righteous fury, touting of inequality, and screaming most mainstream feminists do.
