What's up fellow otaku? I first got into anime when I was in the seventh grade. The first one I ever watched fully was Elfen Lied I think. (I know, weird, right?) I remember finishing the series and wanting more. I did my research and found other anime that interested me. The rest is history and led me to where I am today. I am the only one in my family that watches anime and none of my friends do either. (Some do, but not to the extent I do) I'm a jock. My other teammates look down upon anime and think most of it is hentai. So I really don't have anyone to nerd out to about a anime I loved. I'm hoping that I'll make some friends on this site so I can fix the problem!I'm looking forward to making some new friends. EL PSY CONGROO

No no no. Hentai is the only thing they know about anime. I do NOT watch it. They don't even bother, let alone, understand what anime really is.
