Planing 3 trips in 3 years

So im planing 3 trips to japan in the next 3 years. The first is this September for the Tokyo game show and we will be spending the rest of the week in Tokyo, exept for going to Fuji-Q Highland. The second will be in November 2014 for the Tokyo auto show, but the rest of the time we will be traveling all around Japan. The third trip is in late March 2015 for the Tokyo International Anime Fair as for the rest of that trip don't know yet. So I'm looking for some ideas of what to do got a good plan for the first trip, but the second trip i know i'm going to Kyoto but where else should I go.

no not really, a lot of hours and I have always been good at saving for a goal. If I had to say then at the bottom of lower middle class (If I work a lot of weekends) . Started this plan in Jan. of this year.

You should go on an eating tour of Osaka. Seriously, if the timing/driving/etc makes sense, hit Osaka and try their local specialties.

well the second trip is for traveling and to see more of the culture so I will have to keep that in mind, thx.
