Who has had any real success here?

Success has no real true definition other than who has actually met someone in person, texted on the phone or chatted on fb? Is it foolish for me to think I won't find solace here other than wandering the forums and occasionally some profile chatter?

Considering it is a website to bring Otakus together for dating, you've still gotta do your part as an individual. Whether you find solace or not is up to you. That can be applied in any situation and/or website you use that helps you look for relationships. I'm sure there have been a few, for me personally, I'm quite new and I haven't made any moves on anyone so that's my own fault.

Very true, this is only a website. You're not guaranteed a date by signing up. I don't think any website could guarantee that :P. But as with life, you're more likely to get as much as you put in

I'm gonna assume its guesswork. I've noticed a few bugs on this website but it's no big deal. Advertising this website to cosplay sites or groups might help create activity and higher chances of relationships. However, I am not desperate for that lol.

This is the only site I know that is geared toward Otaku, do you know of any other? I think the creator of this site is dormant too. Have you been to any cons? The last one I went to was almost 8 years ago I think. They say you can meet girls there but that seems like a long shot unless you don't mind introducing yourself a lot but at least you're surrounded by your peers to some degree.

Hmmm I don't know of any other one which is why I think this site would be much more successful if it was advertised more often. I've been to cons and you "can" meet people but its as i stated, it takes effort and nothing just unfolds perfectly for ya. Meeting people is quite easy though but it can be intimidating because everyone has their own standards. In general, you'll only go as far as your effort. Sometimes effort doesn't determine the results but most of the time, it does. :)

Well so far my effort has got me here. I have tried doing specific searches on two other more reknown dating sites with really no luck. There is a site called Gaia Online that has a wide range of users, age wise. I might try that route again. I actually got a few phone numbers a while back. Yeah if the advertising could take off somewhat, eh.
