What is virginity to you?

I don't know if I like the idea of giving out sex with every person you date or have a long term relationship with. I'm personally Catholic so I believe in that kind of thing. I'm waiting for marriage because I think that sex should only be shared with my married partner. It makes it a lot more special in my opinion. You belong to another person body flesh and being. It's a lot more romantic in my opinion because it's only you two all your life. It may seem like a let down to some guys but in my opinion it's the most romantic route. I don't really believe in divorce either. I acknowledge others do it. It's not an option I'd ever consider if I made a vow with someone though. If they were abusing me I'd run away but never be divorced spiritualy. maybe legally but not spiritually. Catholic thing. A marriege can be annulled but it has to meet certian requirements like one person didnt mean the vow or something. Don't know.

I'm Catholic myself, didn't wait. Its better to find someone who you are attracted to physically, mentally, and sexually. Because if the Sex is lacking someone is going to get annoyed. It is very admirable to wait before marriage to show purity but even if you are pure, is the other too? You also gotta remember Divorce rates are really high especially for couples in their late teens - early 20's. Its a High Risk and High Reward. Why go through the trouble waiting to only find out it didn't work out in the end. Better to find out everything before you hit the wedding bells. Just because you hold Marriage sacred with much respect and don't believe in Divorce doesn't mean you significant other has the same ideas too. Trust issues are a real killer.
