Any couples here at Maiotaku?

I'm just curious: Are there any couples here? Do you know of any? Have you been in a relationship with someone on this site?

Been chatting with a lot of people on and off this site. Met someone nice off here who lives across town. Started chatting more and hanging out. Both uncertain where things will lead but open to possibilities. What's up?

I have been, yes. c: And it worked well for quite the while. Just that there were some differences between us that I couldn't handle much anymore. We're still friends though!

I've heard of some people finding another, but the problem just kinda lies in the fact everyone who is remotely active is so spread out. Unless you live in a more populous state like CA, TX, NY, or FL your chances on here of finding someone local aren't the greatest.

I have been, but it didnt really work out I still dont know what happened. He just up and said we're breaking up. After a little more than a month he contacted me to say he wants to be friends and I said hell no ^^ but I am so over it (o^^o)

I was like in a relationship with this girl really insecure about her figure but it was cool still we lived like two hours away of each other so it didn't work out because of that and time issues.

Hmm, Ive been in 2 long distance relationships from here. The first girl treated me like crap all the time then cheated on me.... The second girl was a nice girl but we just grew apart. So they havent worked out for me so far, but then, I wouldnt be single if they had worked out! I do believe its possible for them to work though. Just depends on the strength of your convictions! :)

Like anything in life it is completely possible to happen. In fact if you looked at this like a "social gathering" place for Otaku it is just like going to a singles mixer. This is a place to meet those single people that are looking for the same thing you are. It may be hit and miss...but it is more likely that you will find someone here than you would find them at a super market or bar.

I agree with you Testarossa :) Personally, I don't have any experience with long distance relationships. My aunt is in one though. She's having a bad time from what I can see. I wanted to give her some advice since she doesn't want to break things up with the guy. I just thought it might not be them but the long distance stuff. Maybe they can't keep up with that?
