Nerdalous, read my post again. I said you CAN'T be arrested, but you can still be banned. It's not the cops that ban you, it's the convention organizers. They don't need irrefutable proof, they just need to know you stole shit. They have the right to deny access to anyone.

I would never think about stealing anything from a convention. Not even food. It's not worth it, and it does not support the people who contribute to the anime convention scene. If I'm that broke, I'm bringing bean burritos from home!
