Anime getting romantic hopes up

Has anyone else ever got in a relation only to realize that its not as great as anime like shuffle or love hina may portray? And does anyone think romance like that exists?

Relationships are all different. I don't expect them to be like animes but they have their perfect relationships cause well they are fictional characters. Your relationship should be how you create it to be. What you enjoy in one and what you expect to receive in one.

Really shouldnt use anime fiction to generate a realistic idea of how a relationship should be. IRL relationships are a lot different.

It can be over the top romantic comedy but I do enjoy watching it for the feels and story. What anime portrays it not close to the real thing but sometimes it happens anyways. My life can be viewed as a comedy anime because of the strange and funny things that happened.
