I'm Minnesotan too. I've been to Detour twice, and I don't plan on returning unless there are some amazing guests of honor. I'm really looking forward to AniMinneapolis and Meta Con though. More for Meta Con than any other convention I'm attending this year. Yes, it is trumping ACen this year!

I went to Meta Con last year and had a blast! It was definitely a smaller con, but was still a lot of fun.

I think there was a decent turnout for it being it's first year. Are you planning on attending this year? I'm most excited for Billy West and Chris Patton. ^_^

Yes, I will be going this year. I really like their guest lineup this year. It goes beyond the typical anime voice actors. Billy West and Olivia Olsen will be awesome!
