I hate to say it, but unless you don't mind having a LDR, your chances of finding anyone who lives in your area on here are relatively limited. I live in Wisconsin and there aren't even a ton of people active from MN, Iowa, or Illinois let alone my state unless you count logging in once every two months or so as "active". Living in a relatively populous state like CA, NY, FL, or TX will definitely increase your chances, but damn I'm lucky to see ANY girls who live within 250 miles of me having logged in or joined in the last month let alone ones closer to my age. I think I have just as many unanswered friend requests as I do people on my friends list on here.

I have, and I'm quite pleased with it. :3

Same reason. I have been feeling very discourage lately about how its going on my end but I always try to remember its a trial and error. One day the someone will give me a chance. So into then I'm not giving up and none of you should either. :)

The matter of distance between everyone doesn't really help matters either, I feel seperated as louisiana otaku are rare

Same, no luck. a Girlfriend dose sound nice right about now. *Wishfully Thinks*

even though ldr are most likly if you both like conventions and can meet there it makes ever meeting more speacial than the last. even talking and skyping can make a difference because when you find the one you love the long-distance will just make your love stronger for the day you can finally hold that person in your arms. (but that's just how i see it.)

I actually agree with you on that. Also it came depend on the individual too and if they can handle distance or not.

Aren't we all, aren't we all. No luck but this site does have potential.
