Hello everyone, I'm new :)

I just joined 2 days ago, and I haven't posted a greeting to everyone yet, so I thought that I should do so :) My name is Alexis and I am from Southeastern Wisconsin. I am 17, but I'm going to be 18 in May. My favorite food is watermelon :D I read more manga than I watch anime as it is more convenient for me to do so. I find different cultures fascinating, especially those of eastern Asia. I went on exchange to Germany for a year on a full ride scholarship my sophomore year of high school, and when I came back I had to repeat the year. Because of that, I am only a Junior this year even though I should be a Senior. I speak fluent German, soso Japanese (2 years), and quite iffy Chinese (1 year). I plan on going to Japan this summer on exchange for a month and a half if I get another scholarship to do so. I love meeting new people and I don't mind answering any questions you have for me, so ask away!

Welcome ^ ^ That's some impressive stuff D: I'd like to know more than one language too :( You're going to have to take some of us if you end up going to Japan. No scholarship program would pay for me to go v.v

Demy, thanks! :) I really love learning about new cultures and languages, and I seem to pick them up quickly :) You never know if you'd be able to get a scholarship unless you try! I can set you up with the organization that I go through if you would like :) They have full year, semester, and summer exchanges to tons of different countries :)

Ah, Demy, I just noticed that you are 23, so you would be too old to go through my exchange program, but you could go with Rotary :)
