@kilik; Relationships prevent the loneliness that us humans are bound to feel when surrounded by other people. -w- no matter what, there is no full way to cover up that loneliness with object. although, i agree with you about the structure of this site;I do not agree with you on the fact that facebook has more of a chance of a relationship than on here. MeetMe, Sure but not facebook. In several people's case, they actually have just have family or school friends on their. In my case, i have both. No one on there i do not know, and none of them i know/care/talk to them enough to date any of them... Most of them are already in relationships. But even still, i freaking HATE facebook. after a few minutes on there, i realism that unless you play those shoddy games that leaves ads and notifications, the only things that are entertaining on there. my "friends" post of other friends i know not about. Check out "meetMe"/"MyYearBook" .com, it's a better site than this.

Might have better luck at a con. Of course, I only say that because my brother met his wife at a con, my best friend met her boyfriend at a con, my cousin met her husband at a con... I could go on. lol

if you absolutely need an otaku girl for your next one then either you need to find a local hangout for otaku near you or like tobitairu said...go to a con. and as far as finding a girl at a con....the best advice i could give you is to have a badass costume. dont half-ass that shit. i'm not saying you need a bad-ass costume...but it sure as hell helps.

i think it's absolutely a social event. how different is it picking up a girl at a con then picking one up at an ihop or while shes working...or even at school? it's all the same. just start talking and try not to be super creepy. if you do start coming off as creepy by accident then try to play it off as a joke. it's all in the numbers man. talk to 20 girls and your bound to leave a decent impression on one of them...unless you're going after girls who are out of your league. oh and never bend over backwards all the time for a girl. you do her too many favors and thats what puts you in the friends zone.
