Small talk.

josapswanzi
It is pretty much grueling. I don't see any point in asking someone how they are doing. The answer from a stranger will always be good with an emoticon and then they will return the question to you. Emoticons are rather annoying as well. So many faces. I guess It is a large hate for texting/ online communication.

I just hate text talk in general. Emotes are fine. I hate stuff like "u", "txt", etc. and a lack of grammar or punctuation. If you're on a computer, and you aren't dyslexic, you should take the time to craft a good message.

...You hate emoticons 。・゜・(ノД`)・゜・。 (*☻-☻*) ♪(´ε` ) (・ω・)ノ ☆〜(ゝ。∂) ☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆ (♯`∧´) (>人<;) Alright I'm done spamming you. I try not to use text talk, but sometimes I do it by accident since I text a lot. I stopped textinb for like 2 months and I started typing normally.

Unfortunately, more and more people actually use "text talk" in their day to day conversations. It happens. Either they become accustomed to it or they forget.

i can deal with small talk, but in very small doses. otherwise i'll lose interest in the person/conversation and go to something else

Small talk tends to be a tactic to ignite a conversation or maintain the flow and prevent an awkward silence. Most people type with poor grammer or whatever due to laziness or real inability to do otherwise.
