Genre/theme preferences

Figured this might be a good way to find common interests in anime. To start off with mine: Likes: Parodies, light-hearted comedies, sci-fi (outer space), mythological themes (Inuyasha, Matantei Loki), history, fantasy, adventure, romance, magical girl, sentai, animals. Not a fan of these at all, but will be tolerated in small doses: ecchi, war, horror, moe eyes (creepy). Will not tolerate: Doomsday endings, 18+ anything, constantly gloomy scenarios, extreme cruelty towards children even if just implied.

Oh Man this is tough cause I pretty much love most things but if I have to go there prolly Romantic Comedy. But Some of my fav shows all over the place Fate Stay Night (Action) Gurren Lagann (Action) Clannad (Romance, Slice of Life, Tragedy) Genshiken (Comedy, School Life, Slice of Life) Beck (Music, School Life, Comedy, Drama, Slice of Life) Kimi Ni Todoke (Romance, Comedy) Karin (Romance, Comedy, Action) Chobits (Romance, Comedy, Drama) I am all over the place but most often Romantic Comedy. I always tend to give a Show 3-4 Eps befor I decide to watch or drop it so is how I end up likin so many things.. hehe

I like pretty much anything. Show me a good love comedy/slice of life, though, and I'll love you forever. Also, I can never go wrong with cyberpunk, in particular something created by Shirow Masamune. But, yeah, pretty much everything.

Mecha, action, comedy, adventure, horror are my preferences. I'll watch anything else though if it gets my attention, or heard it's good enough. I'll stay away from the "cutsier" material... unless it's decent as mentioned earlier, then I might.

#1 would be greek tragedy #2 would be romance #3 would be "insert other ppl's suggestions" Last place would be the super sugary/magical girl genre like Shugo Chara.
