I'm 20 lost my virginity when i was 18 and never married how i lost it wasn't great was just a random hook up with a friend we weren't in love or anything yet still i don't regret it.

For a lot of people, that increases your allure >.O In all honesty, I think you should try and save your first time for someone you really care about, because you want your first time to be a great experience. Don't rush into it just for the sake of having sex, because then it's so much more meaningful.

being a virgin is a + point to me, so is having lost your virginity in circumstances you are comfortable with. Personally I find it rather sad when girls tell me that the person they lost their virginity to was a *cencored*. Losing your virginity is not cool or something to boast about. And I agree with drako2k0, Save it up for someone that you won't regret/think badly about after doing it. And if the curiosity is too great, do it with a friend and experiment a little, you'll be more at ease and have a better time doing it. Don't just do it with whomever is interested.

Right, it's best to wait until you have something you feel special about and with, BUT in a circumstance where you REALLY can't wait any longer, a good friend to have as a sex buddy is a thousand times safer than a stranger you met at a bar or party while intoxicated, just be careful if you choose that option because attachments may (and often do) arise from either you or your friend which could complicate the friendship.

Society grooms and conditions many people into wanting sex and a relationship super fast. While there is a proven biological basis for it, all the hype surrounding sex is really completely arbitrary. This should only really be getting to you very badly when you hit your 20's which is when your brain is going to force you to think about intimacy versus being isolated.
