What 'Type' do you like?

Hm, I can't really say that I have a type because then I go for opposite of what I said. In the end, I guess an overall nice guy with some edges to him. :]

My type is someone who stands out of a crowd like a wild person who can kick butt and can challenge me in almost anything and says screw the rules -sounds cliche I know-

I like the type that are a mixture of a few & well balanced. Like respectful & protective of me but not to the extreme. I like my guys nice, curteous, loving, romantic, yet laid back & fun loving. I like them to be driven where they set goals for themselves & work hard to provide but not to the point of neglecting the lover completely for work. Having some type of intelligence is a must for me a 5.0 gpa isn't required but sitting around doing drugs & being stupid & ignorant is a no no for me.

Hmm it would be interesting to have pre-set character types you could match yourself against. Just one example: Ihacked4chan would be looking for a Kamina (from Gurren Lagann). My type is a paradox. She can be humble and soft-spoken, but not afraid to speak her mind or tell me I'm an idiot. She will be beautiful and cute (yes there's a diff.), but save her most beautiful side for loved ones and friends. She will say with a soft smile what I could not with 10 pages put into words. She will be understanding when I insist on opening a door or pulling out a chair for her, but fight me to the death on who gets to pays the bill each time. And finally she won't ask why I don't say "I love you" every day because she knows I think about it every waking moment.

Most of the time I end up falling for someone who goes against my "type" Funny, huh? xP Well anyway, for guys I tend to like the sensitive ones. x.x And one with a creative mind much like me. He must have a romantic side and he must be open-minded. Respectful, of course, caring, and he must have the brains. ;D Not necessarily super smart, but not stupid. :| Looks? Well that's not a biggie for me. If I had to pick a character to match my preferences, the first one to come to mind would be Allen Walker >o<;;

I am new here... So this topic is the easiest to talk about... I simply love the kind hearted, smiley, with glasses one... Preferably clumsy/nerd yet caring and actually smart (ex: yukito from card captor sakura) But for fave anime char is more to the smart, serious, bad tempered one, easy to bullied (ex: kaido kaoru, kyon). Or arrogant, noble, not-so-cute boy (ex: echizen ryoma, ciel phantomhive).

I'd like to revise my previous post. I like women that are smart, have a sense of humor, confident, and have purpose. Attractive is definitely a plus, but not necessarily a requirement.
