What's the reason you're single?

I know this isnt the immediate topic right now, but im following the main focus of the thread. Im single by choice, I just got out of a 4 year relationship 8 months ago with mutual agreement. In my opinion nothing real good comes from getting involved with me, so I dont wish to burden someone with that. Besides I enjoy helping other people out and giving relationship advice :)

The modern relationship has been getting harder and harder to maintain in my opinion. Standards usually reflect our current values. To be honest the kind of person you to find somebody is one who will be able to recover from said heartbreak or refusal to want to be with them. There is over 7 billion people in the world that are at least known. A little bit less then half of that currently is females. Even if you have niches and certain interest the chances of finding someone is relatively high as long as you take the effort to search for them. Thats why you should always treat love as something to cherish when you do have it and grow from it when you dont to aquire it again.

I hope all the best for everyone still looking for someone. I am done with it - it's all too tiring for me. It used to be all I thought about but you know what - Fuck it. Part of me regrets posting this thread because it stirs negative thoughts for the insecure peeps out there replying and it only resonates that frequency. Don't ever forget all of you are unique and beautiful in your own way. Just because that special someone hasn't noticed that yet doesn't mean it isn't true. God Bless -

I wouldn't worry about that anime_tyrant. Though it's true it might bring people some discomfort... It also brings comfort in relating to one another and a quick option to vent. Heck, we are 65 pages in with a relatively quiet community. Must be a pretty important topic to some. As for me, low self-esteem and anxiety are my Achilles heel. Doesn't help that my last relationship ended terribly. Still try to talk with her from time to time... I think I'm suffering from something similar to Stockholm Syndrome.

I feel like; The reason im single is because either I choose to be or no one wants to get into a relationship with me. If I choose not to get a boyfriend then I will keep my self untractive but until then im fine with being single for a while

I'm single because apparently I look like I want to kill people, it's just my normal facial expression but everyone assumes I'm angry all the time

The reason I'm single is probably because of 2 reasons. 1: I'm not really looking for a relationship right now. 2: I'm usually assumed to be gay. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with being gay. If you ever meet me IRL, you'd probably pick up on it too, it's just my personality :/

i guess the reason i'm single is because I'm really blind when it comes to things like love. When i was younger i didn't really believe anyone could have a crush on me. I'm also afraid to put myself out there. I've only had one boyfriend but he was more like a brother to me. So i'm afraid of getting hurt and i'm afraid i might not be good enough for a guy.

Honestly, i'm not good with the ladies. But i refuse to give up. I will find that special someone someday. Until then i will keep pushing with a true smile :).
