What's the reason you're single?

Im pretty sure i posted in this thread before, but as it gets longer i feel by the need to repost. For those of you saying you're still single because nobody has come along yet/no chances/no interest/etc, all you have to do is just go for it. Just like the nike slogan "just do it" See someone you like? Go for it, tell them you like them after a bit of flirting and talking. Do not be afraid of failure.

Exactly it takes me awhile to do that myself but if I feel that there is a adequate amount of compatibility and time we spent talking to each other.

I don't think i've posted in this thread seriously before, yet. I'm confident for the most part, i'm a good person, etc. But my problem is that I suck at choosing people apparently. I like to believe I have high standards, although i'm not that picky anymore regarding things like physical appearance, still have my preference of course. But damn, I have picked some real crazy people in the past. Most of which have cheated, I should make a thread on my past experiences LOL. But yeah, the reason i'm single is because I choose the wrong people sadly. Off topic but, I agree 100% with Rou's last post. You should listen to that piece of advice of his. (Don't end up with psychopaths like me though LOL)

Same here actually when it comes to past relationships. I would be interested in listening if you feel the need to post them.

@Shinyumi: I really think that everyone has high standards, and typically that is what gets us into trouble. There's a lot of reasons as to why I'm single, but the honest to god one is, I have really high standards. My ex spoiled me silly (not with gifts, but attention, love, etc), and so I already have that expectation because I know men like that exist. And the animes I watch at times, induce expectations of men as well. Women get it easy and just have to be "adorable" in my head. But men, I have incredibly high expectations for. As for the cheating? Not all women cheat, and I'm incredibly sorry that's happened to you >.< On another note, Kota! I love HSotD!! And the in accordance to Rou's post? He's so right! You never know who likes who until someone speaks up, and 90% of the time, the female won't. Why won't we? Because we assume that our actions speak louder than words. Sadly we are mistaken, but it's true. However, on a separate note, if she does say no, please accept that. It's an incredible turn off, and any thoughts about dating someone can be squashed immediately if you spout on and on about how you're a nice guy or something. Or at least, that is my opinion on the subject.
