Who here likes a woman with a strong, independent personality? I'm a guy who can appreciate that, I want a partner who isn't going to be clingy or dependent on me everyday, I expect my own life as well as hers to go on if we begin dating, and I'm a guy to take things reasonably slow, so no, I won't recommend moving in in the first 6 months to 2 years, unless it works out in a way, because you have to get to know a person before you let them into your life like that.
This doesn't mean I won't accommodate my situation or her situation, but, simply put, I don't like submissive women. When someone cannot live on their own for a good period of time, thats not a good sign for me, at all.

I dont mind a degree of clingyness, its cute to me, but too much can be a bit off putting. Im as easy going a guy as they come but sometimes I do like my own space.

I'm not for immature women, if a woman can't stand on her own I kind of get turned off.

I'm the type that can be independent for the majority of the time, but I can be emotionally needy at others. I do enjoy being close to whoever I'm dating but some space is needed at times too so it doesn't get too claustrophobic. I do like some immaturity in the relationship so it can kinda be casual at times or just laugh and be stupid (just not constant immaturity to where nothing is taken seriously).

I believe this is true. Everyone needs to be able to live their own lives. I live by myself, go to school full time, and i'm out here on my own. Of course I've been single for a year and 4 months, yet I do feel that I need emotional support from at times. It's nice to have it from friends or family members when I go visit them, but in a different way I mean. I don't depend on others. I prefer doing things myself, so that at least it gets done right. One can be independent, but there is nothing wrong with needing another.

I didn't really mean clingy or that I can't offer emotional support. I mean that I am not possessive of people, at all. I can't be the dominate force in another person's life, I'm always the person who is there, but by the choice of the person, not by my own choice.
