do you agree with the monarch regarding reparations for brazilian slaves? if you agree that the systemic issues from the past have left a lingering imprint on the black commity, why dont you feel that we should rectify it? lets say the government agreed to allocate money for the renovation of black schools and neighborhoods, would you be against that? i totally agree with social programs, but why trim the weeds of a systemic issue instead of pulling it out by the roots? the goal of things like affirmative action is that its a short term solution to give a certain demographic a leg up, and once they at the level of others theres no more need for it why do you assume a female poc supreme court justice wouldnt serve the constitution? theyr going to be liberal no matter what, so why would them being female and/or a poc matter in that regard?

i cant speak to feminist issues in brazil unfortunately, but as i said im for affirmative action if they are as underrepresented there as they are here. is there a reason why they have such strict criteria? even to me it sounds a bit obtuse to require a certain amount of women simply to run

Low income neighborhoods dont exist due to crime, low income neighborhoods PRODUCE crime. When stealing and making a living doing criminal activity pays better than a 9-5 job ofc people arent gonna work. The blame isnt the snitches but the mayors and community leaders who get in positions of power and sit around collecting checks for minimum effort. They always talk about cleaning up the streets but pump money and resources back into that system. Look at new york they released a ton of criminals and dumb shit in order to pander and police are being attacked an officer died officers are dying. They dont get support. They cant stop crime and when their budget gets cut they lose resources needed to dont their job.
