Since u asked me to cite it. Malignant cancer is lower in fish eaters; respiratory diseases is lower in low meat eaters; and all other causes are lower in low meat eaters. I already cited where it told there was no significant difference in overall mortality of all causes combined. And yes, cardiovascular diseases are a killer in US, but it has more to do with fast food rather than non-veg. Also anemia is most common cardiovascular disease, which is not studied in this study, but rather in the one I linked earlier, which showed vegans to be more anemic.

i see i see. ty, i am a novice at this kind of debate. but ill say that doesn't matter. the leading killer is heart disease and if veganism can prevent that it automatically lowers your greatest mortality risk. yeah and junk food omnivores et diabetes and heart disease, we all need to eat healthy. and the diet, when you eat as recommended, that edges out is vegans.
