caleb, are you letting go of plants feel pain? because i feel like iv debunked it. if you dont agree id like to see some more proof or backing up the proof youv put forward, but it just feels like your grasping at straws that plants do have a nervous system, but id just say its too basic to feel pain
caleb, 95% of the meat comes from factory farms
but we can switch the debate to why its ethical in general to kill an animal if you want?

also even then you're harming thousands of insects just for your just to feed a small amount of people compaired to one animal like a cow being killed which can feed way more than a plant

no im not letting go of that argument due to the fact that a basic neuro system can still mean it can feel pain it may just use different chemicals.

so, since i would purge 2/3 of the world, first of all because all the the population is spread all around and some have more some less.
First of all, every country would have to erase a certain % of their population depending on how many people they have.
now who gets to live and who gets to die would be by having to do certain tests. , of intelligence, physique etc
this would - dare say, get rid of most of the bad genes and only intelligent- or average-intelligent etc would survive.
it's like selective breeding but on a large scale. - you know, rooting the weeds out.
now if i fail or not, i couldn't tell. but i would be ready to get turned into a dog food can if it was for the greater good.
there should be tests for all age classes of course.

if i remember correctly population isnt the issue, its our intake of resources
wer just really wasteful and really pollutant
why not worry about those instead?
and again, if someone were to murder your sibling or whoever you hold dear in this genocide, would you be alright with it?

and if 3 guys jump me, rip me.
that's why humans live in flocks, and many other living beings, from fish to insects to mammals and birds etc

prime example is when grass gets cut, the smell it creates is alerting grass near by as a warning that's an example. in a nut shell plants are just very slow stationary animals
