You can either ambush these smaller groups, or take advantage of their lessoned security and poison the stagnant well water, or sprinkle cinnamon to drain their band's totem of all its magical power, causing their wives to leave them in search of better mates. You must build your reputation as an adventurer, hope that word of your deeds reach their ears, and they will seek you out based on their personal goals and aspirations, and whether they think you can get them there.
