@wei_ying actually yes many times as well as had two professional VAs encouraging me to do so at some point. When I get an apartment setup I’m creating my own recording studio with sound absorption padding on the walls to professionally do gigs for series

That sounds so cool! I wish you the best when designing your room. Which brings me to the next question, what design are you planning for the room to look like? Will you add a mini couch or something in the room in case you are too tired to walk to bed?

@wei_ying I’m gonna sound like a total simp saying this but I probably will put in a little recliner or something so I can listen to my gf voice act on her stuff and be in awe of her

Fun characters you have there! Next question, is there anything you may have to take into account when voice acting for anime or certain characters? If so, what are those things you have
to account for?

@wei_ying when it comes to voice acting l have learned and made this mistake often in the past. You cannot just change the pitch of your voice and say you are that character.
You MUST take into account how much energy that actor must have put into voicing those specific lines, what face must you make or bizarre methods to get as close as possible to that characters original voice, do you need to tighten your vocal chords or not, and finally take care of your vocal chords like any instrument by drinking room temperature water to keep them fresh
(Ex. When I spoke with Bryce Papenbrooke he told me he raises his eyebrows as high as possible to voice meliodas as well as mentally visualizing him speaking to his wife as meliodas would Elizabeth)

Who is your favorite VA and was there a sort of inspirational VA that led you to this path?

That makes perfect sense. I love to voice act Ace Attorney with my 2nd eldest brother and we've had to act out in funny ways to get a good result for the character's voice. Next question, when voice acting is it preferable to learn vocal exercises and such to help your throat?
