How much does one past matter?

Ha, this reminds me of a really good friend of mine who would say whenever these topics came up, that he would never date a non virgin no matter what. I respect their choices -even if I don't agree to them-

Okay, now a serious answer Dating an ex-convict, depends on the type of crime, how long they served, where they were imprisoned, why were they released and under which conditions as well since how long ago they got released. Sadly the dating market it's too ample and plentiful, so you would need to bring something really interesting to the table to compensate the dangers of dating someone who served, although, I will say, theres people who have a danger kink who will definitely will appreciate being around someone "dangerous" even if that person is super nice and doesn't ever does anything malicious, so not all hope is lost, you'll just have a harder time finding a proper match, and, obviously you'll need to stay out of trouble

I'll give you this much, it's awesome that you're being (Hopefully.) honest and open about something like this. I mean, your convictions are available to the public, but being open about something like this is at least a little step in the right direction. Gonna be hard regardless, but honesty is ALWAYS best.

Depends. I tend to screen more for personality flaws like dark triad traits more than history. A trip to jail is what it is. A history of animal abuse with psychopathic tendency on the other hand? No way in hell am I raising kids with that one.
