@hell_hound7 No, I meant the way that characters and story were presented. What nuances they try to evoke within you. For example, here's an older iseikai.

But I agree with one point. Religion does need an update if it hopes to survive. And honestly, I'd rather see it stay.

We will see, Noah's arc has apparently been found and is currently undergoing excavation. There is a project currently under going rn. Maybe once the structure has been found it can shake up the community and prove there was a great flood.

As for the doctrine, that i feel wont change. It is believed we are currently in God's period of rest. A day for the lord is a thousand years and it is said to be that we are currently, according to scholars anyway, legitimately in the end times. Its not a specific year like 2012 is the end. But we are getting there. In the last 5 years we have seen a massive shift. There was what seemed like peace and then covid happened and the world has gone to shit. I feel we will be hit with another pandemic or a war soon.

In reality we're actually living in the most peaceful time of human history and it seeming otherwise is just the result of more coverage from the media as well as blowing things out of proportion and I would assume having access to infinite amounts of information because of the internet would also add to that it was way worse before but because people couldn't access information as well as we can today we had no idea just how bad it actually was there's tons of studies like this one
https://geneticliteracyproject.org/2022/11/04/viewpoint-challenging-perceptions-the-21st-century-so-far-is-the-most-peaceful-time-in-human-history-heres-why/ going over how humans have become less aggressive and more peaceful with time leading to less disasters and less death so if God coming back comes after disasters it isn't going to happen anytime soon and instead should've happened at least 100 years ago if that's how it was going to play out. Way crazier stuff than covid and a war have happened in succession in our past what we're experiencing now is literally nothing compared to our ancestors heck even our great great grandparents had it way worse

Mesopotamian Flood Myth (Epic of Gilgamesh): The Mesopotamian flood myth, found in the Epic of Gilgamesh, describes a catastrophic flood that destroys humanity. The hero, Utnapishtim, builds a large boat to save his family and various animals.
Biblical Flood (Noah's Ark): The story of Noah's Ark is found in the Hebrew Bible and the Christian Old Testament. It recounts how God sends a flood to cleanse the Earth due to human wickedness. Noah builds an ark and saves his family and animals, becoming the progenitor of humanity after the flood subsides.
Hindu Flood Myth (Matsya Avatar): In Hindu mythology, the Matsya Avatar is the first avatar (incarnation) of Lord Vishnu. It involves a giant fish warning the king of a great flood that will destroy everything. The king builds a massive boat and is saved along with a variety of plants and animals.
Chinese Flood Myth (Gun-Yu): Chinese mythology includes the story of Gun-Yu, where a great flood devastates the land. Gun, a legendary hero, builds channels and dams to control the floodwaters, earning him the title of Yu the Great.
Greek Flood Myth (Deucalion and Pyrrha): In Greek mythology, the story of Deucalion and Pyrrha recounts a flood sent by Zeus to punish humanity's wickedness. Deucalion and Pyrrha survive by building an ark and repopulate the Earth by casting stones that transform into humans.
Native American Flood Myths: Various Native American tribes have flood stories within their oral traditions. For example, the Hopi people have the story of the Great Deluge, where the Earth is destroyed by a flood and saved by a small group of people who heed the warnings of the gods.

One reassurance for those that have actually read their scriptures and not just gotten swepted up in TV Evangelist hype is that by Christ's own mouth he said "None on Earth shall know the time of God's Kingdom."

Infact im merely stating that based off of biblical prophecy and going off the prophecies of the bible. People have used that to create the timeline we currently are in. Hence the end times, the only thing left is the rise of an antichrist and removal of the church from the earth. Then Jesus will make his return. Yet again, didnt give a time.

Also the flood across the the many religions is just proving the fact it did happen which alot of people have argued it didnt.
