@gabriel_true A few years ago when looking for contacts for my Gumi Matryoshka cosplay, I found that out too and I think it makes a lot of sense. There is a lot that can go wrong with contacts. Improper cleaning, storage, and especially improper eye measurements can cause serious damage or infection in the eyes and lead to being blinded! I don't remember the exact specifics, but these are generally the reasons why this is the case. Hope my eye insurance covers both new frames and contacts

I ordered from EZCosplay some years ago. My costume looked similar to the image shown but was a little long on me and had to be hemmed.

Learning how to highlight and contour is probably the first step you should make regarding makeup. It's part of the foundation process, so if you are saying you're tan and you're wanting a lighter skin tone [Death the Kid], watch drag queens beginner tutorials on how they beat their mug. They typically also give tips on how to prep your skin (because makeup soaks up all the moisture and natural oils from your face), how to keep your makeup from caking or creasing, and how to finish it so that it lasts through sweat and not so terrible weather.

Best advice for dry skin is put on a lightweight moisturizer 10 mins before you start applying make up. What is a lightweight moisturizer? Not a thick, oily or greasy one, usually fragrance free. One that leans more water based that absorbs quickly. You could even go a step further and prime your skin after you moisturize it but that's probably a step further than you want to go.

This would probably work. https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71VAZ3SWDvL._AC_SS450_.jpg I have a number of small pots of stuff I use from Sephora so I don't stick to a specific moisturizer. I think my go-to right now is belif aqua bomb. http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0508/5918/0191/products/BELIFTHETRUECREAM-AQUABOMB_1200x1200.jpg

I never went through EZcosplay before. Probably because I would rather make my cosplays if able to (genshin cosplays are way too detailed atm for my current ability but hope too soon with some lessons)

@verucassault Been slowly getting into skincare. Ceravee was one of the products my sister recommended. This Man could use a make up teacher somewhere cause all I know how to do is brows lol.

@gabriel_true : That's probably what I should have done thinking back, aha. It still fit okay though and was easy to fix. But yours will turn out great! You'll definitely have to share photos of you modeling in it. And I have yes! Sadly, it doesn't fit anymore. I still have most of my old cosplays in my closet.

It will eventually go bad so use it liberally. (They don't make makeup to last and tend to advise you to toss things out after 6 months to 1 year.)
