We pause. We reflect. We mourn. And we’ll grow again.

My cousin and I watched the Pope’s Exorcist. And it somehow emphasized the need for confession. Because the devil knows your sins, and it will attack you and weaken your faith through it…And so this movie reminded me that it has been years already since I had my last confession…Now Im wondering if doing confession will help me move on and will help get rid of the guilt I am feeling…
My ex boyfriend does not believe in God. But there is this one time when I asked him if he thinks God will forgive me for all of my sins. And he replied with yes..Because based on what he heard and read, I have a loving and forgiving God. And I should believe that…
What my ex said comforts me until now…Indeed my God is loving and forgiving…But I dont remember the last time I asked for His forgiveness…

Confessing it's pretty good for the soul, I confessed around a year ago I think and the priest was super chill about it, even though there were some pretty heavy and dark stuff to talk about, so if you feel like you need to do so in order to let go, then by all means, faith it's something that everyone embraces at their own will and pace after all.

Basically one talks to a religious leader for guidance during a confession. If one were to meditate alone they could come to their own conclusion about what God was willing them to do, but by having a counselor with the person they can receive additional guidance in the matters that challenge them.
Or something like that idk, haha! To be fair my family was excommunicado a long time ago.
Comes with the territory when your mom is a former nun.
