curse and a blessing

It is annoying being a guy who tries to do what he can to help everyone... it is my blessing because it makes me a good person but my curse because i sometimes get caught in the middle...

There's two sides to everything. It doesn't make you a bad person to take care of yourself first. In fact, that's what I recommend.

Then again, I hate helping people.

thats why ive gotten to the point that i only help the people im close too or if i do help said person i make sure i wont get in too deep if i know i cant handle it, live and let learn i guess

As for myself, it depends on the situation, my mood and the people involved. I try to help as many people as I can but there are times that you should just sit back and watch/leave.

I understand and agree but my kind nature usually makes me take up for them the ones who are hurt and or going to be hurt

I'm too kind to people as well. it always bites me in the ass too. everyone seems to use me for something. i'm learning to be assertive and its working so far, gotta let people know that you may be nice but youre not taking bullsh*t.
