Political rants

I think it's the opposite problem. Voting isn't a priority cause it's kind of on the side. Voting days should be a holiday and more information should be mailed. Along with being able to vote from home.

All you have to do is log on to Twitter, read some shit, to see that humanity is doomed. The internet was a good idea at first but now it just highlights everything, especially people's ignorance and stupidity.

@daggerfella who's going to determine who's more or less worthy to vote? What happens when that group wants to express themselves? Are you going to put them in a concentration camp? That's the tactic dictators use. They oppress opposing views and have a privileged class.

Kinda like how South Korea calls for their citizens to serve for 2 years. It doesn't have to be military, although those are the spots they try to fill first. They have made it to where you can be other types of civil servant. When I worked as a social worker, I thought if people had to work that job for 2 years, they would be a little bit more empathetic towards those type of programs that help people and community. On the other hand those type of people you are helping, most of them are apathetic and looking for handouts. It's the sad truth. 1 year at that job and you would watch people going from being there to genuinely help people to becoming jaded.

They would also blame you for everything and when you would try to explain to them that you are only following the rules and protocols put forth by the state reps/legislature they look at you blankly. You tell them to go talk to their state representative but they would rather yell at you until they are blue in the face because you are there and it's easier.
