china already does cheaper labor and we already out source labor there.... this is a good thing if phones were manufactured in America they would be unaffordable...

Knowledge should be free. School should be subsidized as fuck. Hell, make school free. you're litearlly investing in the future of humanity.. too bad greedy politicians and lobbyists will complain or find a way to pin the bills on the average person

actually you somewhat make a good point, which is automation although companies are already switching to automation increasingly despite our current wages, which is why we need a new sect of the government for technology like yang proposed

Manufacturing jobs are never coming back to America. They will probably dry up in China too. Automation will be able to do that work. It's already happening now. I don't have an issue with the minimum wage increasing but what we really need is UBI. Being tied to a specific job is a big problem now. The job market is very unstable now. Most work people get are gigs. UBI would help people who have to do various gigs and it would be the safety net for our increasing automated world.

im conflicted on state taxes virginia has some really stupid taxes, like personal property tax

@kuharido ubi is really interesting, but im not sold on it really (although how yang said that the citizens would get a check for the government selling tech to other countries, like how alaskin citizens get oil ubi, was an interesting idea) how do you think it should be implemented?

@momoichi Honestly I think Yang has it down. I'm not an economic expert I just go with Yang plan. I'm more social and see a paradigm shift happening in the world with AI and robotic technology.
