Political rants

@thesailingteacup "lefty twitter" is a phrase that connotes the extremist side of things. Obviously generalization never makes sense in any context. It's a buzzword. Completely missing my point though. To keep myself sane I like to imagine everything is cherry picked and that the same people condemning the verdict aren't also the same people making up excuses for stuff like this when the suspect is black.. or completely ignoring the black people that walked while also being in a worse situation than Kyle. The media does an excellent job at cherry picking and causing racial tension though so there's that

You know im kinda starting to see why so many people skip the visa process and come here illegally. That shit is lame af. Like certain countries get preferential treatment, then to get an actual visitor visa you gotta jump through hoops. Marriage visas are even worse because you gotta prove you actually had a relationship with the person for like almost 3 years. If you fuck up anything even a tiny bit you are either banned from ever coming back here or you gotta wait 10 years to apply again. No wonder the border is chaos and no one actually respects the visa/greencard process.

Also there are a lot of idiots on Twitter. <<< most of twitter really. lol The people who are in fear of vigilantism, need to look to leadership and the police. The night Kyle defended himself was the third night of riots. Businesses had already been vandalized and burned. Keep in mind Kyle didn't stop anyone from setting fires, he was just putting out the fires. He didn't stop anyone from spraying graffiti, but he helped clean it up. Not to mention we were just coming off of the "Summer of Love" where cities burned and people shouted "defund the police" in 2020. If you're movement is breaking the law, destroying homes and ma & pa shops, your protest is going to fall on deaf ears for some, appear to be a tantrum to others or criminal. No gains made, but maybe new attraction to those who want to join in on burning a city down for fun. Of the ones that were actually apprehended at the time, the police cheif of Kenosha reported almost 60% of the people they arrested were from out of town.

Sadly, the loudest part of the left is neoliberal democrats especially in twitter and Hollywood media. So many people tend to easily clump em all together, same how the left clumps everyone together as alt-right nazis if their opinions differ. Thing is I wish things were a bit fairer for both parties, because what usually happens is that one extreme neoliberal loon raises in the social ladder. While the others who are deemed "alt right nazis", are disregarded and canceled off the platform. I'd honestly say we should pay attention more to our own and deem those truly unsuitable, with common sense. Rather than using it as a political tool to throw your opposing opponent under the bus.

I am just so tired of this constant fighting between Ideologies. Having people to position themselves in one end of the spectrum or other (Left or Right) is such a flawed political system. The problem of devoting yourself to an Ideology is that even if someone makes a valid point and critics your political belief, you would often see it as a personal attack on you. That will frequently shut down the conversation for good Bruce Lee once said, “The best style is no style.” “Adapt what is useful, reject what is useless, and add what is specifically your own.” After these principles, the most effective combat sport (mix martial art) was born. What a wonderful way of thinking, why can't we adapt this to Politic? Listen to what people of the other Parties have to say, adopt useful ideas and toss out the harmful ones. So in conclusion, FUCK THE DEMOCRATS, AND FUCK THE REPUBLICANS TOO. Their game of power only divides people, causes more problems and chaos. Other countries should not take this as the role model.

I remembered when Digimon tried to raise awareness of cancel culture. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZAnQrxCc9g Then those very same individuals deemed Japan/Bandai, "alt right nazis" for doing a anti-cancel culture campaign. https://madelinetodd.files.wordpress.com/2018/09/giphy3.gif Weirdest part was that mostly west coast foreigners were doing the attacks on Japan, rather than Japan themselves.

@ffdreamer I honestly thought the Walk-Away Movement was going to be a great start to that very thing. Last year it was becoming very apparent to me that classic liberals were now considered conservatives by the neoliberals. 15 years ago classic liberals were for legalizing gay marriage, today, they are vilified because they don't go with the flow on a lot of the trans-movement stuff. There are a lot of people that are politically homeless. I'm still registered as a democrat. Georgia kinda makes it pretty impossible to change party affiliations. I want to switch back to Independent. I'm tired of being harassed constantly by Dems asking me if I remembered to mail in my ballot. <<Fuck off.

I can't say I know what Virginia counts me as. I get mail from both parties. My area is split 50/50 Dem/Rep but I've tried to stay Independent as much as possible often voting both parties if I can't choose a third

I would have stayed independent but they don't get to vote in closed primaries. <<< that also needs to change.
