Funny enough, I've never heard it said the vaccine 100% prevents infection or spread. I've always taken it as a "precaution" and not a cure. Does it help? Yup. But, those who are against it are always gonna be against it... Don't want prevention? Don't get glasses when your sight goes bad. 'Cause remember, glades can cause issues and they don't prevent degeneration. Not the same, but the analogy stands. I mean, I'm forced to wear a seatbelt by law and that very seatbelt "could" kill me too. People fought about seatbelts, too.

I think when discussing transmission the words get minced often. It doesn't prevent transmission at all. The longer you spend time around someone who is infected, the more likely you are going to get infected yourself. Sucks if you spend time around someone that is asymptomatic in that regard, but still. People, doctors, media, should move the focus of talk from TRANSMISSION to exposure and infection probabilities. It would be more helpful and frankly, more honest of a conversation.

People who are pro covid vax will always be pro covid vax and use anologies like seatbelts and other dumb excuses to subtract from the fact that either way people still get sick. "YeAh BuT tHe NuMbErS" the number of hospitalizations? You mean the ones they omitted during wave one? They want you to get the vaccine no matter what. they go around telling you well you wont get sick even tho like theynhave flip flopped the hell out of the effectiveness when it came to the delta variant but people are still on here talking the same neanderthal talking points about seatbelts. I wontder what it would take people to wake tf up. Half the population droping dead? Because even when the same people you get answers from get shit wrong yall still say its the best option.

Saying its ok to go back to normal if you get the shot. Is it not coincidence just around the same time this happened?

New Zealand has had their borders closed and still ended up with the delta variant. This thing is efficient at spreading. I'm a bit curious if migratory animals play any part due to the NZ case. The stance on that seems to be "there's no evidence to support it", but that could just mean lack of data.

The police are also going to arrest the person with the idea. Not just the ones that executed the idea. Everyone involved in the act gets some blame. To say that only Biden or only Trump gets the blame is biased partisan view. You can start blame with president Bush. The Afghan war started under Bush. Bush gets some the blame. Obama continued the war. Obama gets some of the blame. Trump never ended war. Trump gets some of the blame. Bidens pullout was an absolute disaster. Biden gets some of the blame.
