i could be wrong, but i actually believe that in areas where there are after-school programs, and violence does down. could be wrong though, going off of memory

idk about you guys but in highschool i was told i needed credits for this, this and this. 2 algebra classes and one geometry, 4 years of english composition, 2 arts, 4 PE credits. All of that. What did i learn about in my history classes? Not slavery and all that but the byzantine empire. Imagine that the byzantine empire. Real history that superceded America

I learned about laissez faire from an old crazy dude who was obsessed with a pineapple he kept from beginning of the school year to the end. This is why we dont need mandated curriculum. We need teachers to teach topics they know best about. Not a wide assortment of stuff they have no knowledge on. Especially CRT. That belongs no where near k-12

Its a college level topic, they teach it in college. Kids cannot comprehend such a topic. Because it goes beyond just letters and numbers its an entire idea.

history was one of the few classes i liked, and one of the few i did good in. learning about other cultures and what happened to them was fun. for my school we have credits too, but i never cared about them. my course was premade (minus extracurriculars), so i just attended classes. only credit i remember failing was language, if i had gotten that i would have gotten an advanced diploma. most of the stuff is just to fill out the day while parents work, but we did some fun stuff. biology was fun and literature/writing was actually something we use in our everyday lives. and I've heard that gym class actually does curb obesity (still fuck gym, some of my worst memories). that being said, math is pointless. fuck math. send it to hell and let it die.

the japanese only learn that nazi's were bad guys and that japan was teamed up with them in university. that's why you see the uniforms fetishized there. i dont wanna be like japan, where they barely even apologized for the rape of nanjing. japan shelters its people from the awful things they did in the past specifically because of foolish pride.

same with the british and what they did to Ireland. they loooooove brushing over the atrocities that they committed to the Irish people. and because of that their people are ignorant to the plight of south Ireland (the only true ireland left) and the dwindling culture i dont want America to be like that.

America isnt going to just suddenly start enslaving black people because we didnt make white kids feel bad for something they probably had no lineage connecting them to. Remember not every white was a slave owner. Not every white was in america the whole time. Alot immigrated during the war.
