How do you all think a war between China and the US will go?. Here's my non-expert opinion. It'll start over Taiwan. China hasn't seen action in like I think 40 years please correct me if I'm wrong. Other than slaughtering innocent people. The only advantage I can think of China having is purely a manpower advantage. They don't have the experience or technological advantage over the US. They lack a positional advantage over the US. They're only ally seems to be Russia although I could be wrong. Russia will probably abandon them if it looks bad because Russia's only reason for allying with them is simply to be against the US and that is it it's not like they actually like them. And even if Russia supported them Russia doesn't have the Navy to support a war in the Pacific Ocean against the United States to be fair their submarine game might be a little on point but we have good anti-submarine technology. Also we would have both Japan and Australia on our side in a war against China. Let me put this another way...... We will have the nation most likely to create a Gundam on our side, and a nation whose wildlife is more dangerous than some militaries and no I'm not actually making that up Google the great emu war. Also history lesson, last time Japan and China came to blows it did not end well for China. The only reason China even got out of that situation is because Japan was fighting a war against the US as well. Japan recently announced that they consider China a threat using verbiage necessary to deploy the Japan special defense force in a war. I say at this point we just allow Japan to have a military again and let history take its natural course without saving China this time. Maybe with the inclusion to not commit genocide against the Chinese because that's bad. I mean heck maybe the Chinese would welcome genocide they seem to be loving population control of their own people. Why not have Japan save them the trouble. JK No in all seriousness it would go like this. China invades Taiwan. Taiwan ends up being a lot harder to invade than China thought. Allied warships approach the Chinese fleet. The Chinese fleet is now cut off from the mainland. China surrenders. Because losing your entire Navy over an invasion of Taiwan is not only embarrassing it is absolutely crippling to the point that if you continue any war efforts you are an insane dumbass. The reason why I think this will happen is China keeps telling their people and invasion of Taiwan would be easy. This would mean they would be immediately demoralized at the real idea of war once their soldiers experience it. You should never tell your troops and invasion will be easy. That has never gone well in the history of mankind as far as I'm aware.
