I don't get why the trans community is up in arms about these two missouri laws 1. Minors should not be making major life changing decisions like this in the first place. If they are legal age then okay but if a five year old wants a sex change to feel pretty you do not take them seriously because of their age. 2. The trans athletes not competing is to make the competition more fair for the women's league competitors because they cannot compete with a man with testosterone. This world is crazy man

Hot take, if you cant consent because you arent mature mentally or physically and dont actually understand what you are doing, you shouldnt be able to alter your body. I use consent because not everywhere in the world abides by smoking and drinking laws so i cant use that as the bar for the standard. But i dont think kids need to be taking hormone blockers or elective surgeries. They are just kids, they could be caught in a phase and want to change back but then realize its too late or maybe it causes complications, or confuses those around them.

I'm not sure that really goes into "white suppression", so much as patriarchal suppression and or religious suppression. But, I still agree that it's just idiotic. Kids don't really understand the impact of a LIFE ALTERING thing at such a young age. But, then again, I can die for this country at eighteen and I can't drink until I'm twenty one.

Im not trans so i dont really know what it feels like to experience this urge to change genders. But i honestly dont think as a kid its something that should be done.

And any acts or behavior about this should be treated and punished as "unable to give consent". Similar to how underage can't give consent under a certain age. This is basically grooming with a twist in it. It is only natural that with the amount of people that live on earth, you will have different classes of people. Ofc, those with academic education, and trash. That often don't even know what they are talking about. Uneducated people should not have a say in a community that's supposed to be intelligent. - this is just my opinion about minorities that always scream for attention and can't stfu, but aren't smart either.

@hell_hound7 I can kind of grasp the idea of it. It's not the same thing, but I have a case of BDD. However for my mental health they don't let me use anabolic steroids at the age of 14 or 15, or at any age for that matter. They can cause massive developmental issues at that age and screw up the body's hormones to the point of no return at any age. After being the idiot to screw around with steroids, doing something like that to a kid that has no idea what they are doing is something outright evil.

I really dont think you should be pushing your kids into doing something. I understand being supportive but if your kid plays with barbies as a boy dont be like "omg they might be trans lets get you some surgery." Its people that push these kids in this direction. A kid doesnt just wake up like im a woman or man today but wanna be the opposite tomorrow. Im not gonna say its a mental illness even if academically proven i just think its bad parenting, feminization/masculism, people wanting the opposite gender child than what they got, the environment they grew up in. If your kid becomes an adult let thwm do whatever, mutilate their genitals get implants do hormone therapy whatever. But to give a child steroids and surgery while they are in their development is just plain wrong.
