I do not think it does any good to put any Asian related hate in the US and concentration camps in China into the same thread.

Uighurs are Asian as well, they are Muslims, it is similar in terms of hate torwards Jews. (Even though jewish hate has a ton of history behind it and generations of suffering). China is not putting people into gas chambers (I hope so) at this point. It is against human rights. I do not think that the US or any other country will act though.

Im not trying to downplay the asian hate movent dont get me wrong i agree all men are equal. Its in the the literal foundations of this country. What im saying if all men are equal where does it say all men equal but only in the US? If we are gonna fight for something as hard as asian hate here in the US why are we completely ignoring something 10x worse than hate crimes sprinkled here and there

Riiiight, except for the fact that China and the US have land sizes that are pretty darn close to each other in land area. So they would fit pretty much the same in the US as they do in China Lol@Lol

The only reason why Europe, USA, Canada, India or whatever country play along with it are economical reasons. Governments need to act. Well, one of the things that the US can do is to show how it is different. Asian people are not being harassed here (which is not the case) so we can live together equally so you can with the Uighurs. Not saying Europe is much better. I do have Asian friends (not even from China, still doesn´t matter), who had people switch sides on the street, when they approached, when the pandemic did hit. Like they spread the virus... A friend of mine who is Asian-American and lives back in the US now, told me though it got worse there. Cashiers did not want to serve her (her roommate is buying her groceries at the moment) and she and her relatives face attacks weekly as well as comments like "Ching chang chong" or "Chinese whore" (even though she is Vietnamese) and stuff like that. I was protesting with BLM and cannot ignore the hate against any ethnicity of people. I agree, that every person in the world is equal and should be treated like an equal. Hate and harassement is never the answer.
